Overview
Goto URL Resolver is a Chrome extension that reveals the real destination behind Google's goto redirect links on search results pages, and lets you export the resolved URLs to a CSV file. This policy explains what the extension does and does not do with your data.
In short: nothing is collected, stored, or sent anywhere. All processing happens locally inside your own browser.
What the extension does
- Reads the titles and links already shown on a Google search results page you have open
- When you click Resolve, asks Google for the real destination behind each goto link, the same request your browser would make if you clicked the link yourself
- Updates the links on the page to show the real destination
- When you click Export, builds a CSV file from that same information and saves it to your own computer
Data we do not collect
- Personally identifiable information
- Health information
- Financial or payment information
- Authentication information
- Personal communications
- Location data
- Web browsing history
- User activity such as clicks, scrolling, or keystrokes
Permissions and why they are needed

Where your data goes
Nowhere outside your own device. The extension does not run its own server, does not use analytics, and does not send anything to the developer. The only file it ever creates is the CSV you choose to download, and that file goes directly to your computer's downloads folder.
When resolving a goto link, your browser sends its normal cookies to google.com as part of that request, the same as it would if you clicked the link directly. The extension does not read, store, or make use of those cookies itself.
Third parties
We do not sell or transfer user data to third parties. We do not use or transfer data for any purpose unrelated to the extension's single purpose. We do not use or transfer data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.

If this policy changes, the update will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date above.
